Other Notable MC's who might make it next year after the break. Daps to Ron

If you’re from the south and don’t have anything by him yet, you’re slipping. Imagine a J.Cole from Mississippi who grew up listening to Pimp C and you have KRIT. Also, he produces ALL of his own music

KRIT wuz here (download)
Dom Kennedy:
His album FutureStreet/DrugSounds made me interested in him. He’s not the best rapper but he’s a good songwriter and has an ear for beats.
Top Mixtapes:
XV
Personally, I think he was snubbed by XXL two years in a row. Especially in 2010 (look at the list and see who doesn’t belong). This MC from Kansas City, MO makes futuristic rap and is an avid video game player (shows in his music)
Top mixtape:
TiRon
I’m really just getting into his music but he shows potential. May be listing him a tad bit prematurely but i’m sure he’ll attract more buzz in the future.
Top Mixtape(s):
Kendrick Lamar
Formally known a K. Dot, Kendrick Lamar is a rapper from Compton who doesn’t rap about gang violence. Dude is nice though.
Top Mixtape:
ADD-2
This guy is really underground but now has a new endorsement as being The Roots’ guest MC. Plus he can REALLY rap
Top Mixtape:
cARTer
Dom Kennedy’s patner and Houston Texas MC. He really brings the UGK/Screwed sound back.
Top Mixtape:
Legal Trappin (iTunes download…yea, not available anymore)
Yelawolf
He’s white. From Alabama. Skateboards. And only drives box chevy’s. Yea I know, weird.
Top Mixtape:
Lil B
Lol yea i know. If you’ve heard things aboug Lil B they’re probably bad, but he’s entertaining. He can also rap, when he wants
